Welcome to the homepage of Nobumitsu Sasaki,
Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
We study interactions between pathogens and plants at the molecular level.
We are currently conducting research on the following topics.
(Click on the numbers to go to each item.)
(1)Studies on the mechanism of cell-to-cell movement of plant viruses
(2)Research on the regulatory mechanism of viral resistance gene expression
(3)Functional analysis of Dof-type transcription factors involved in disease resistance
(4)Research on the mechanism of cell death-independent virus resistance
(5)Studies on the formation mechanism of Makomotake (stem gall in Z. latifolia)
About my lab
Undergraduate. I am in charge of the Department of Applied Biological Sciences in the Faculty of Agriculture. He also runs the Genetic Engineering Laboratory in collaboration with Associate Professor Yasuhiko Matsushita.
Graduate School: I accept master's students in the Applied Bioscience Course of the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Graduate School of Agriculture and doctoral students in the Department of Applied Bioscience of the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences.
I welcome those who wish to enter master's and doctoral programs.
